On December 12, 2018, a presentation on the MEDSCOPE Project was given at MED 2018, the user consultation meeting held  in ESA -ESRIN Frascati, Italy to define a roadmap for a Mediterranean initiative within ESA’s EO Science for Society Programme Element, encompassing topics such as atmosphere, oceanography, climate, and land research and applications.

The Eleventh Session of Mediterranean Climate Outlook Forum (MedCOF-11), the 20th Session of South East European Climate Outlook Forum (SEECOF-20) and the 12th Session of Northern Africa Climate Outlook Forum (PRESANORD-12) took place in Cairo, Egypt, from 26 to 29 November 2018, hosted by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA). It is remarkable that for the first time these sessions have been conducted in conjunction with the session of the Arab Climate Outlook Forum (ArabCOF).
MEDSCOPE project was invitetd to give a presentation on November 26, 2018.

Climateurope Festivals support Climate Services at the European and national levels. The events offer a varied programme of lectures, discussions and networking to explore the state-of-the-art of climate information, and its uses and value in decision-making.
Festivals are intended to create synergies between different European, national and international initiatives in the fields of Earth-system modelling & Climate Services and enhance the transfer of information between suppliers and users. The 2018 edition of the Climateurope Festival took place in Belgrade, Serbia, 17-19 October 2018
